Friday Night Lights is Back!  Mark your calendars for Friday, August 28th. If you've never been to a Catacombs Friday Night Lights (FNL), you won't want to miss it. What is it? FNL is a fun way to get the Catacombs community together for a workout (usually a Benchmark WOD), meet the new faces and get reacquainted with the old, and share refreshments with your people. All the fun of a friday night high school football game without the drama...or at least a different kind of drama. We will also be announcing the winners of the August "Log your Results" contest and passing out prizes to the winners. More details will be coming, but we wanted to get this one on your calendar.

September Starting Line: Starting Line is the gateway for entrance into our regular group classes. This is a six session series to teach you the fundamentals of CrossFit in a small group environment. We teach and drill the functional movements that CrossFit is built upon and prepare you for the intensity that our fast-paced group classes will entail. Sessions are comprised of a teaching element, skills practice, and a workout. You will also build a cohort of athletes that will travel the CrossFit journey with you. We can't overstate the importance of community and we begin building it from Day 1. This session will begin on September 8th and is tentatively scheduled to meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at 6 PM for 2 weeks. Registration will be open soon for the September Starting Line.

Transition Week: Next week will be a bit of a transition week as we wind-down the summer schedule and get ready for the "back-to-school" schedule. We are still offering a full plate of classes but are canceling a few of the lesser attended classes to allow us a chance to regroup for the Fall Schedule. There will be no 5 PM classes next week, but there will be 6 PM classes Monday-Thursday. There will also be no noon classes on Wednesday and Friday. All classes will be back on their regular schedule beginning August 24th. Plan ahead so that you can get your workouts. Thank you for your understanding!
