Class Sign Up

Happy Hump Day--

Just a quick reminder to please sign up for classes ahead of time. Most of you are fantastic at remembering to do this. Thank you for making it a priority. Some of you are in the habit of signing in when you arrive. This is fine too, but you risk pushing a full class over the edge. We will always do our best to accommodate everyone that shows up to workout, but we believe strongly in the small class model and are committed to keeping classes at 10 people or less.

Why do we do this? Most of you have heard my take on this, but let me lay it out for you. The effectiveness of CrossFit is directly related to how well your workout is scaled and customized for you. As a coaching staff, we pride ourselves on being VERY GOOD at scaling and individualizing workouts. Part of it comes from knowing each one of you as an athlete. But part of it comes from making sure we have reasonable class sizes that allow us to give everyone individualized attention and feedback. We can't do that consistently with more than 10 athletes. Class sign up allows us to manage this; keeping you safe and ensuring you get a quality workout.

We've seen some full classes over the last week or so, but you should be able to get into any class you want with a little prior planning. We will of course add classes as capacity demands, but we are not there yet. There is un-utilized space in every time slot for multiple days each week; so don't get all up tight about your favorite class being full. I will however throw out a friendly reminder to please cancel out of a class that you know you aren't going to be able to attend so someone else can take your spot.

If you are having trouble with online sign up, let Tracie or Dustin know.
