Good Problems & New Schedule!

One of the basic tenets of Catacombs is individualized, quality coaching and small class sizes. We believe that this is critical to keeping our athletes safe and getting the most out of every single workout. If you invest your workout time and dollars in getting here, we invest in you as an athlete and work to maximize every hour you spend here. It is a commitment we are serious about and that we will hold to even as our membership grows.

Wednesday morning was nothing short of fantastic. We had 10 members show up for 6 AM class along with a new person that wanted to check things out. The energy was great and everyone worked together to share space and equipment. I'm pretty sure everyone left here feeling like they got a good workout. Still, it felt dangerously close to compromising my commitment outlined above, so it's time to take action. Beginning next week, early morning classes will move to 5:30 AM and 6:30 AM. This should alleviate the pressure and, per your input, will even work better for many of you!  Thanks for your thoughts and openness to change as we grow and evolve.

Your part of the bargain? Sign up for classes. Not only does it help me, but it helps you make your workouts a priority. If you are having trouble, let me know. Can you still come to class if you haven't signed up? Yes, of course. There is a 25 burpee penalty at the start of the workout, but you should absolutely still come.

Also, if you have a friend that wants to try out Catacombs, that's awesome. We want your family, friends, and coworkers as part of the community. But let's make it a positive experience for everyone. Rather than throwing them into the fire and bringing them to class, have them email me. I'm happy to do a free one-on-one session with them to see where they are and what the best approach is to getting them into regular classes. They will have a better experience and I can focus my coaching energy on the task at hand.

These are great problems to have and I appreciate each and every one of you. Thanks for being part of Catacombs!
