I know a lot of you may still be feeling it from last friday's Filthy Fifty (I know I am...), so I wanted to touch on the subject on recovery, and how a lot of us overlook this. 

As CrossFitter's, we get our WOD in, get our roll on, and get on with our day. Most of us don't even think about the extra time of recovery actually needed for our bodies throughout the rest of the day.

When I began doing CrossFit, I was exhausted, tight in every joint, and just could not stretch enough to ever feel fully recovered. I found this article called "How to Optimize Your Recovery," and it saved my CrossFit game. 

NOW, due to our Real Food Challenge, I am going to ask each of you to overlook his view on nutrition. It doesn't follow what we believe is true healthy eating (he has very anti-Paleo beliefs). SO stick to the challenge, skip this section, and really focus on Sleep, Hydration, and my personal favorite, Cryotherapy.

Give these a try and enjoy; and let me know if there is any change in your soreness. Recovery is just as important as the WOD.
