Happy Sunday Friends--

I hope you are all enjoying the Spring weather and getting outside this weekend. I want to put something else on your radar to consider over the weekend. I know many of you already have your summer goals and events planned, which is awesome. You are busy chipping away at training or perhaps just thinking it's about time to really get serious about training. If you haven't already signed up, please consider adding the Thirsty Thirteen to your summer schedule. Catacombs is a sponsor of this race and our very own Matthew Krichman is the race director. More importantly, this race raises critical funds for the United Way of Southwest Colorado.

I would love to see a big contingent of Catacombs athletes jump into this event. How awesome would it be to have a couple of dozen Catacombs t-shirts in the race field? If you have never run a half marathon before (or if it has been a really long time like me), this is a great race for you. The course is beginner friendly and has some nice dirt road segments along with great scenery. This will be our big gym event for August, so put it on your schedule and get signed up. Oh yeah, and as a bonus, you get free entry into the San Juan Brewfest with your registration. If you have questions, ask Matthew or Tracie and we will be happy to twist your arm.

The race is August 26th so you still have plenty of time to train. We will even help you with a training plan. The catch is that the race is already 70% full so you need to register quickly to make sure you get a spot. Go ahead and make that commitment today and get signed up.
