Welcome home Sven!
Welcome home Sven!

As I am writing this, it is Friday afternoon. This week has been a whirlwind of awesomeness. We are set to go for the Spring Challenge on Sunday with close to 50 athletes signed up (and it isn't too late if you still want to join)! The website is back up and running with a new look and design. We had a fantastic week of training and helped our friends at Durango Running Company pull of a sell-out event for the Kissing the Rock movie. We even welcomed some new members to the family. Overall, I would put this week in the "Win" category.

With all that said, there is still room for improvement. Don't lose sight of the things that make what we have so special.

  • Remember to introduce yourself to every new face you see when you walk in the gym.
  • Remember to wait for others to finish before breaking down your equipment and give them an encouraging word along the way.
  • Be respectful of our commitment to small classes and each other's needs. Always sign up for class and always cancel if you aren't going to make it. Canceling at 10 PM for a 5:30 AM class is not helpful.

Finally, I would like to say thank you to all of you for the support you give to me and the coaching staff. We love hearing that we said or did something that made a difference for you. We love hearing how you've used your fitness to accomplish something out in the real world or how being a part of Catacombs has improved your life. That is why we do this. And over the last week when we were burning the candle at both ends working on the website and food challenge, many of you took the time to check in and ask how we were doing. We are humbled by your kindness and are grateful to belong to this tribe.

How's that for a compliment sandwich!
