Hey Folks-

We have lots of exciting stuff coming up in the month of November. Between wrapping up the Whole Life Challenge, kicking off a new strength cycle and the Concept II Holiday Challenge, we have plenty to keep you from getting bored and lazy as we move into the holiday season.

We are kicking off a new strength cycle next week. The focus of this cycle will be strict presses and back squats. We will have a planned strength set incorporated into the workout plan for Mondays and Thursdays over the next 6 weeks. Most days this will NOT be the main focus of the workout. We will be testing current 1 rep maxes for these over the  next 2 weeks. This is a perfect time to write down some numbers and Move What You Measure. (See the previous blog post if you don't know what I'm talking about.) If you miss one of the pretest days, you can make it up in Open Gym on Saturday or possibly Power Hour in the evening. Don't worry...we will still have plenty of lung searing met-cons and endurance workouts mixed in there.

Also, we will be retesting the intake workout of the Whole Life Challenge next Friday, November 11 as the workout of the day! Mark your calendars. This will be an exciting check in for WLC participants and a good benchmark for all of us. Hang in there WLC folks...we are almost there.

Stay tuned for the details on the Concept II challenge. If you hate rowing, you NEED to do this.
