We are canceling the 5:30 AM class tomorrow but are planning to otherwise run a regular schedule tomorrow. Check the Facebook page or Zen Planner for details.

Day 6 - A Day of Reflection on your Goals

Ok, you’ve cleaned out your kitchen and you’ve put alcohol and sugar on hold. You’re getting more sleep and being more mindful. You’ve placed your workout into your top scheduling priorities and planned a delicious healthy meal. So, what could be next?  Let’s put all those tools to the test! 

For today, we would like you to consider how you are going to measure your fitness. Is it a 5k or 10k race? Maybe a triathlon or the Iron Horse? Is it completion of a bucket list event? What about participating in the CrossFit Open? (The Open is a worldwide CrossFit competition that last for 5 weeks.  Each week a new WOD is released and athletes around the world complete the same workout and compare their scores.) We are going to run our own version of the Open to keep it fun and will release more details in the following weeks. Still, the mechanism by which you measure your fitness is not necessarily important, but objectively evaluating if your training program is getting you where you want to be is the critical component.  

So, what's it going to be? Set some metrics by which you can measure your fitness and goals that can keep you motivated and training hard. Post to comments and let your people know what you are working toward.
