Catacombs Endurance Team

We have a handful of brave athletes signed up for the Catacombs Endurance Team, but we still have some spots open. This is the perfect opportunity to train for and complete a Fall half-marathon. I know it seems a long way away, but sadly, it is just around the corner. This program is open to everyone; you do not have to be a current Catacombs member to participate. The group will complete one of the Durango Double half marathons in October, but you can certainly use the program to train for any event.

  • If you are an experienced runner that is looking to get stronger, faster, and avoid those nagging overuse injuries, you should seriously consider this program. No prior CrossFit experience is required and it will be a great introduction to how CrossFit can help your running.
  • If you are a CrossFit athlete that wants to improve your running and work your weaknesses, you will get a TON out of this. More than just the 200s, 400s, or 800s that we program into workouts. Get real coaching from real runners. IT WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
  • If you have your sites set on a half marathon this Fall, don't download some half-baked training plan online. Work with experienced coaches on a customized training plan. Incorporate some cross-training to build a stronger foundation for running. Work with a solid crew of athletes with similar goals. You will be amazed at the difference in results when working with a coach and a team.

The kickoff event is Thursday, July 30th at 5:30 pm.  We will have our first team meeting and give you the chance to meet the coaches and your teammates. We will also talk goals, an intro to running form and analysis, and answer any and all questions about the program.  You can find out more info about the program on the Catacombs Endurance Page here

If you are a current Catacombs member and you know someone that is not yet a Catacombs member but should be a part of this program, tell them about it! If they sign up, we will give you a $50 credit toward your next month's membership.
