Class Schedule Management

Many of you have observed that classes have been a bit more full as of late. That is good news as it means the gym is growing and more of your friends, family, and community are improving their health and fitness. A big thank you to all of you for your diligence in signing up for classes, welcoming new faces, and always being willing to help someone figure out just what it is we are talking about if we get moving too fast.

We are constantly evaluating attendance and the need to add classes to the schedule. As I write this, there is not a single class with more than 5 people signed up for the remainder of the week. That tells me that there is still plenty of capacity if you plan just a little in advance. Along with signing up comes a commitment to attend class. The 5:30 AM class this morning was full with people on the waitlist last night, but only 7 athletes actually showed up. That means that someone who wanted to work out did not get the opportunity. If you sign up for a class (especially 5:30 or 8:30) and then realize you will not be able to attend, please cancel at your earliest opportunity. Canceling at 5 AM for a 5:30 class does no good for the person on the waitlist.

If everyone just applies some simple consideration for their fellow athletes, I'm pretty sure this will solve itself without having to apply more drastic measures. Thanks all!
