Make New Friends

As you all know, the CrossFit community is loaded with really awesome people. I'll admit to being completely biased, as I believe that the community at Catacombs is stacked with the best of the best. Still, it's always good to play with others. Recently, we had a crew of folks participate in an event held at The Vault here in Durango. As always, they represented Catacombs well and had a great time challenging themselves in a competition style environment. Last week CrossFit Telluride reached out to us and invited Catacombs to participate in a small, friendly, in-house competition on Sunday, December 6. Now, I'm fully aware that competition (at least not CrossFit competition) is not what drives 95% of the athletes that train at Catacombs. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't consider challenging yourself in a competition-style event. You never know what you are capable of until you put yourself out there. So with that in mind, give some thought to the idea of participating as part of a team representing Catacombs in Telluride CrossFit's Fall Partner Challenge. We will have a sign up sheet at the front desk if you don't yet have a partner and we can help match folks up. If you do, feel free to use their link below to officially sign up.
