Fly Your Flag

A few of you have brought in flags that represent important connections in your lives and several more of you have asked about the flags hanging on the walls. While we all have CrossFit in common and we are a community of supportive, encouraging athletes; we also are a diverse population. CrossFit Catacombs gets its name from the catacombs of the ancient days. Not tombs of the dead, but places of reverence and refuge where one goes to search their soul, to find out who they really are, to refine themselves into the person they want to be. Catacombs is that place for many of us and we welcome and respect anyone wishing to join us on that journey.

Away from the gym, we are doctors, lawyers, teachers, electricians, construction workers, students, parents, business people, artists, police officers, and firefighters. We may have nothing else in common aside from our dedication to our health and fitness. For one hour a day, we leave our other identity, our worries, and our obligations outside the door. We come together as a community and support each other in our goals to be better human beings. 

Have a flag you want us to raise? Bring it in. We would love nothing more than to cover the walls with the flags that represent this community.
